Joe Bird, 33, was born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. He picked up a tattoo machine seven years ago and left his job as a personal trainer six years ago to pursue tattooing full-time. He specialises in black and grey realism, with a passion for realistic portraits.

In 2020, he opened High Flyers Tattoo Studio, which quickly became one of the most reputable studios in the North East of England. In 2025, Joe moved to Melbourne, Australia, to further his craft and regularly travels to Perth. He has worked alongside many great artists and has won awards at conventions in both the UK and Australia.
