Award-Winning Realism Tattoo Artist

Joe Bird, 33, was born and raised in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. With over 10 years' experience tattooing, he left his job as a personal trainer to pursue tattooing full-time and now specialises in black and grey realism, with a passion for realistic portraits.

In 2020, he opened High Flyers Tattoo Studio, which quickly became one of the most reputable studios in the North East of England. In 2025, Joe moved to Australia, and travelled around major cities to further his craft. He has worked alongside many great artists and has won awards at conventions in both the UK and Australia.
